I got one last November/December. I haven't even plugged it in yet. Every now and then I take the cover I have over it, off and wax the table. It is a beautiful thing.

I've compared my Byrnes saw with a Proxxon at the local Woodcraft store, and make no mistake - as good as the Proxxon is or may be, the Byrnes saw is in a whole different league ... the build quality, fit and finish, etc. was vastly and obviously superior.

The Jim Byrnes saw is ... so accurate you can consistently cut plank strips down to a few thousands - thin enough to see light thru. My 2 cents worth - this is the highest quality I have ever seen!!!

With many tears and much sadness, we share the news that Jim was diagnosed with ALS in February 2023, and passed away in early October 2023.

We continue to stock and ship Accessories which are available and listed on the website, but we will not be accepting orders for the Machines themselves until further notice. We hope to start production in the first quarter of 2026, and each machine will be listed on the website as it becomes available.
